Senior Google PPC Marketer Learn More Plus Plus

You’ll get the opportunity to help grow SilkFred into one of the UK’s largest fashion advertisers. That means working directly with Google and being hands-on with the day-to-day management of the account. We also have global ambitions and part of the role will be to expand our ad campaigns into new international markets. As a candidate, you are...

  • A PPC specialist with experience in managing large e-commerce ad accounts.
  • Analytical thinker with a good head for numbers.
  • A self-described PPC geek who keeps up-to-date with the latest changes in the world of search marketing.

Your skill set & experience...

  • 4+ years into your career as a PPC specialist.
  • Hands-on experience managing Google search and shopping campaigns, preferably for an online retailer.
  • In-depth knowledge of shopping feed optimisation and current best practices.
  • Comfortable with large data sets and excel functions such as “vlookups” and “pivot tables”.
  • Up to date with recent Google advertising features, such as dynamic search ads and responsive search ads.
  • Proficient with Google Analytics or a very similar analytics platform.
  • Familiar with dashboard software such as Data Studio or Tableau.
  • Experience with other search ad platforms such as Microsoft Bing ads.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence software such as Looker (a plus but not required).

In this role, you will...

  • Directly work with the Head of Paid Search to scale and optimise SilkFred's Google account.
  • Review account performance daily and have the autonomy to implement new opportunities.
  • Help expand the account with new campaigns and ad groups that are in line with commercial objectives.
  • Optimise Google search feeds including updating feed attributes such as titles, descriptions and product highlights.
  • Write engaging and persuasive ad copy that is designed to convert.
  • Conduct regular split testing of ad copy and formats such as dynamic keyword insertion.
  • Continuous keyword and trend research to help identify new opportunities.
  • Run and build KPI reports to be shared with senior stakeholders.
  • Help coach and train junior members of the PPC team.
